Islamabad Zoo Plogging Run (IRU 139)

We are proud to announce the 2nd Plogging activity in Islamabad and this time in collaboration with Friends of Islambaad Zoo (FIZ)

Plogging is a new fitness trend that combines running with picking up litter. We all know that running is a healthy pursuit – it’s something we proudly shout about whenever we can. Yet not only is it good for our bodies (yes, even the knees), thanks to ‘plogging’, the eco-friendly running trend fresh out of Scandinavia, it’s proving to be good for the planet too.

Our plan is to gather up at zoo parking  at 10:30 Am. There will be a 10 minutes briefing session about the Plogging activity (10:40 Am – 10:50 Am) and then we will distribute the disposable gloves and bin bags to the runners and scan the zoo for litter along our route.

Program Details:
Meeting Time: 10:30 Am at Islamabad Zoo Parking
Briefing: 10:40 Am – 10:50 Am
Starting time: 10:55 Am
