Galyat Snow hike on Sunday (March, 3rd 2024)
So finally its here!! The day we all have been dreaming about. The Snow Hike with Islamabad Run With Us (IRU).
This Sunday (Yes!! i.e. March 3rd 2024) IRU is heading to the most anticipated hike of the season; i.e. Ayubia Pipeline Trek to Dunga Gali to Mushkpuri!
The idea is to Walk the famous Ayubia Pipeline Trek continuing all the way to Dunga Gali bazaar (approximately ~5 Km) followed by a easy/moderate Hike to the Mushkpuri Top. After a brief stopover at the Top, we will return to Dunga Gali Bazaar, where our chartered transport will be waiting to take us back to Islamabad.
We have hired transport to take us from Islamabad F9 park (Gate facing F10 Markaz) to Ayubia and then back from Dunga Gali to Islamabad. We will leave Islamabad early morning (07:00 AM) in order to start our activity at around 09:45 AM in Galyat.
The total cost per person for the whole trip would be PKR 4000/-.

- Dunga gali - Mushkpuri Base (1.5 Km Hike)
- Mushkpuri Climb (3-4 Km Hike)
- Downhill to Dunga Gali (4 Km Run)
- Lunch in Dunga Gali @ ~ 03:00 PM
- Departure from Dunga Gali @ ~ 04:30 PM
- Arrival In Islamabad (F-9 park (Gate opposite F10 markaz) ~ 7:30 PM - 8:00 PM
