Pakistan’s Original Trail Half Marathon | Est. 2018

The Margalla Hills Half Marathon is Pakistan’s first and original trail running half marathon, founded in 2018 by Islamabad Run With Us (IRU) — the pioneer running community of Pakistan.

Since its inception, the event has set the benchmark for organized trail running in the country. After the inaugural edition in November 2018, the race returned with successful editions in April 2024 and April 2025. The 4th official edition will take place on Sunday, 12 April 2026, continuing a legacy built on authenticity, community trust, and responsible outdoor sports.

This iconic trail half marathon takes runners through the most scenic and technical trails of the Margalla Hills, including:

Medals Distribution:

  • Participants who secure their tickets by 25th March 2026 will receive their medals. No medal comitment after the official deadline

Prize Money:

  • Cash prizes will be awarded separately to the top 3 male and female finishers, 15 days after the event.
